Choose the right type of soil for your repotting project.

All-purpose potting mix: Dense high-quality soil suited for most tropical plants that enjoy weekly watering.

Tropical soil: Lighter, high-quality soil suited for tropicals that prefer well-draining soil.

Cactus/Succulent mix: Heavy, sandier soil suited for drought-tolerant plants that like to dry out between watering. Use for your ZZ and snake plants, too.

Orchid mix: Chunky mix of orchid bark and perlite. Use to amend your soil (great for aroids, especially) or along with sphagnum moss to repot orchids.
